The Lettings, Property Management and Marketing staff members each undertook a training programme with The Able Agent, offering a Level 3 Certificate in Property Advice and Practice. This qualification allows them to apply for an ARLA Propertymark Membership.
Having members of ARLA means that the agency can better assist their customers in relation to governance, risk management and compliance, by ensuring that staff are up to date with best practice and legislation.
Recent CePAP graduate, Member of ARLA and Marketing and Creative Manager, Bethany-Claire Whittle, said: “The Able Agent course has given me greater confidence in my knowledge of the property industry and in particular governance and compliance.
“The fact that myself and four other colleagues have completed this training and are now members of Propertymark reinforces our dedication as a company not only to our staff, but to our landlords and tenants too.”
Walton Robinson has a longstanding relationship withthe face of Able Agent, Charlotte Jeffrey Campbell, and has previously worked with her to put colleagues through ARLA qualifications.
The CePAP training provides a practical, user-friendly method of learning that allows participants to develop their skills and improve confidence across all areas of the business, from sales and investment to lettings and compliance.
General Manager, Amy Gibson, who is also a member of ARLA, said; “Ongoing training is always at the forefront of management’s minds as it’s important to ensure that our staff are knowledgeable of the industry, up to date with the most recent legislation and in a position to confidently advise landlords and tenants.
“The Level 3 Certificate in Property Advice and Practice and ARLA membership allows our staff to do this effectively.
“Whilst we are thrilled with the five staff members already successful, we won’t stop there - we already have another five staff members lined up to start their training in September who will hopefully gain the qualification and membership just before the end of the year.’’
