Travelling overseas for your studies can be daunting. With the added pressure of finding student accommodation in Newcastle and travelling solo, we wanted to point out some things to remember in this international move guide.
Can I view a property even though I’m not in the country?
We can book you in for virtual online viewings for all of our properties in Newcastle in all of our locations, taking the stress out of finding somewhere to live from overseas, in advance of arriving in the UK. We have multiple options for taking payment and the sign up process can all be completed online.
How will I collect the keys?
If your flight is arriving in the middle of the night or outside of office hours, a lot of our properties have key safes, which means you are able to access the property 24/7. This allows international tenants moving to Newcastle to arrive with a secure home waiting for them.
Do I have to commit to a full tenancy?
If you are not wanting to commit to a property virtually, we can assist with short-term serviced apartment accommodation as an interim. We can usually be relatively flexible, and shorten or extend your serviced apartment, depending on how quickly you find your permanent place to stay.
What is Newcastle like for International Students?
One of the benefits of studying in the uk, and especially in Newcastle, is that there are places within Newcastle City Centre that provide our international visitors with some home comforts. There's a huge range of places to eat out in Newcastle, like Chinatown, and many supermarkets and shops that provide international students with a taste of home.
